What kind of packer are you?
I am not just talking about packing for traveling. How do you pack your lunch? How do you fold your clothes and put them in your drawer? How do you make a hamburger patty? How do you schedule your day?
When thinking about the concept of packing, I am guessing the majority of us overpack all the wrong things and under pack all the good things. When I think about myself, let's take me packing my lunch, I will find no problem packing my protein and a delicious whole grain or starchy food - but when it comes to packing the produce - I struggle. I struggle with finding the ones I actually want to eat and I pack just 1 portion of each. Completely opposite of the large chicken breast and side of potatoes to round out my plate. I do think with my daily schedule - I schedule 5-10 minutes of actually me time in the morning and at night but the other 10-12 hours of the day is devoted to everything else.
How many times do we realize we over pack and wish we would have taken less?
It would lessen our load, make the journey a little easier and relaxed. It would be same experience without the extra. I am going to do a better job of packing more of the good and packing less of the extra I know I can do without.
