It is Nutrition Month: My Way, Your Way

March is a fun month for dietitians (yes dietitians do have fun).  We get to celebrate something that means a lot to us, something that brought us to this profession; nutrition.

Health, nutrition, and wellness are all very personal journeys for people. What is important to one person, might not even be on the radar for another person. We are all at different "wellness" stages in our lives too. As dietitians, it is our responsibility to help each and every one of you with the stage you are in. The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics has picked a great theme this year that matches perfectly with the above:  Eat Right, Your Way, Every Day.

Each of us can eat right, our own way with our own tastes, economics, health goals, etc. And a Registered Dietitian is just the person to help you along your journey.

I believe there is not one "perfect food fit" for everyone. I am open to helping each individual maintain their lifestyle and still find a balanced nutrition plan that works for them, but still giving the opportunity for eating right.
