OH- Mega

The month of September for me has been all about promoting the healthy attributes of Omega 3 fatty acids. They are important for cardiovascular health, brain health and development, eye and skin health, and the list goes on and on.

So what is the recommended amount an adult should have each day? According to the American Heart Association, all adults without heart disease should consume 2 servings of fatty fish (salmon and tuna) each week, along with healthy oils such as olive and soybean. This also includes walnuts, soynuts and almonds.

Have you had your servings this week? I know I haven't, thank goodness salmon is on the menu for dinner tonight.
