So this is my first post to my blog--kind of excited. Anyway it will be short and sweet. I want to share my new favorite food! Chia Seeds! These are a new and improved supplement to replace flax seed. I am super excited about it! They have 4-5 times more Omega-3's than salmon, one ounce of seeds has more protein than beef or tofu AND 1/2 ounce has the same fiber as: 3 BOWLS OF OATMEAL! I am sold! So it is heart healthy, great for your digestive tract (to prevent GI diseases and colon cancer), not to mention tons of other benefits.
