In our world of social media, do you share it all or just enough?
I just got back from an amazing trip and I wanted to share as much as I could on social media. Mainly, so I would have memories stored away that would pop up each year, but also to inspire others travel, take the trip and have experiences. I don't think there is a wrong or right way about sharing your life on social media. However everyone chooses to use these platforms is a personal choice and I respect this.
I like to maintain a little mystery when it comes to my life because I don't want to miss the moments by living them all through a lens. Don't get me wrong, I do capture and share a lot of moments but some are just for me and my heartbeats. Not everyone needs to know where I am, what I ate, what I saw, what I bought or who I was with. Disconnecting from digital is a work in progress for me - and I am trying to find the happy medium of life with it and life without it. I am finding I enjoy a life a little more without it and the mental memories will last longer than any social media post.
