Sometimes we just need to heal. We need to heal from worry, stress, love, heartache, expectations and disappointment. The pressures of everyday life and the pressures we put on ourselves can just push you to that point. For me, I need salt water to help me heal. A good run or workout: to wear down the millions of thoughts going through my head. A good cry: to feel sadness and embrace the heartache of something that touches me that deeply. The sea: to go to a destination where I find complete calmness and sense of home, where the waves and the sand comfort my mind and my heart.
Whatever it is you need to heal, give yourself that. You will know when you need it.
